Understanding Clouds
Masterclass-style mini-course – Learn about clouds and their nature so you can paint them better
Normally only available at my in-person events, this masterclass is a great companion to Painting Dramatic Clouds
Clouds are unlike anything else you'll paint. I know how challenging and confusing they can be, so this workshop is about understanding clouds and their nature and so you can paint them better.
This is 'before-the-course' content and a great companion to Painting Dramatic Clouds.
This workshop also includes a replay of the live Q&A.
"First, you are a very generous and patient teacher. Not all instructors are. Your talent and knowledge is exceptional. I like that you covered fundamentals...
I especially got the most out of your scientific explanations... and how and why they appear as they do, ... what causes the translucency as the light reflects off and through the form... Your visual worked great with your explanation. I have started practicing the material that you taught and I am working on adding it to my personal style. Thank you again for a great workshop." —Marla, artist
"Your workshop was such a wonderful experience. Your instruction was very easy going and at the same time so informative and insightful. There were even small things that you mentioned and that were such huge A-Ha moments for me...
Thank you again for your generosity and sharing your knowledge and experience. You have truly made a difference in my practice and I can’t wait to water the seeds you have planted and watch as they grow. " —Anat, artist
"Thanks again for sharing your talents and the lessons you’ve learned. Not only are you, in my opinion, one of the best landscape/cloudscape artists out there, your approachability and kindness and willingness to teach others and share your knowledge makes you one of the best art teachers out there. So thank you again. :)" —Leanna, artist
